Microsoft Exchange Online Flagging Gmail Emails as Spam

Microsoft resolved an Exchange Online issue that misclassified Gmail emails as spam, affecting many Microsoft 365 users from April 25. The problem stemmed from a faulty machine learning model, prompting quarantines. Microsoft reverted to a previous model on May 1. Users were advised to create custom rules to prevent similar issues. Ongoing improvements to ML detection are planned.
