Microsoft’s Bing Wallpaper app reportedly displays malware-like behaviour, according to software engineer Rafael Rivera, known for apps like EarTrumpet. The app allegedly installs Bing Visual Search automatically, prompts users to make Microsoft Bing the default homepage and search engine and has access to the geolocation web API. Rivera has recommended against using the app.
