A Michigan-based health system, Corewell Health, suffered its second cybersecurity attack this year, with state officials revealing the breach impacted over one million patients. HealthEC, a vendor for Corewell Health, had patient medical and personal information exposed, however, the specifics are currently unclear. Following the breach, precautionary steps for those affected have been recommended by the Attorney General’s office.
