MGM Resorts has agreed to settle over a dozen class action lawsuits after two cyber attacks in 2019 and 2023 with a payout of $45m. The incidents, which exposed the personal data of 10.6 million and affected 37 million customers, have cost the company over $100m in damages and disrupted operations at its casinos. Caesars Entertainment also faced similar breaches. Class action members could receive up to $75 each from the settlement after legal fees.
