Mitch McConnell, the Senate Republican Leader, criticised a lawyer tied to Robert F. Kennedy for seeking the revocation of the US government’s approval of the polio vaccine. The New York Times revealed that Aaron Siri, who is associated with Kennedy and the incoming Trump administration, has petitioned the government to withdraw approval for the polio vaccine. Siri also aimed to halt the distribution of 13 other vaccines in the past. McConnell, a polio survivor himself, warned that these actions could threaten public health.
