McAfee Raises The Alarm After Android Malware ‘Xamalicious’ On Play Store Infects Hundreds Of Thousands Of Devices

Security company, McAfee, has sounded the alarm over an Android malware program called Xamalicious, which infected over 338,000 devices through malicious platforms on the Google Play Store. Despite these platforms now being eradicated from the Play Store, anyone who downloaded them during 2020 could still have active versions of the malware on their device. Infected apps include ones like Logo Maker Pro and Count Easy Calorie Counter.
