Marks and Spencer confirms data breach after April cyber attack

Marks and Spencer (M&S) has confirmed that customer data was stolen in a ransomware attack in April. The company reported outages due to the attack affecting various electronic payment systems. Despite some customer data being stolen, the company asserted that no payment details or account passwords were taken. The DragonForce group claimed responsibility for the attack. M&S is advising customers to be cautious against phishing attempts.
