Thomas Edwards has been sentenced to a three-month prison term, suspended for 18 months, after stealing his ex-wife’s phone and sending an intimate video from it to her new partner. Harassment charges were also levied against Edwards for his conduct during the break-up. His ex-wife reported that the harassment led to mental struggles and suicidal feelings. Edwards must also complete 150 hours of unpaid work, pay £500 in costs, and comply with a five-year restraining order.
