Malware That Targeted Indian Military Personnel Returns, Mimicking Messaging Platforms

Sophos reports on PJobRAT, a dangerous malware which uses tactics like URL camouflage, phony personae and phishing sites to infiltrate mobile devices. Originally designed to steal WhatsApp messages, this malware now also runs shell commands, enabling enhanced control over victims’ devices, such as data theft, network infiltration, and post-attack malware deletion.
