A Kaspersky report revealed that nearly 26 million devices fell victim to infostealer malware between 2023 and 2024 where one in every 14 infections resulted in stolen bank card data along with passwords and other sensitive details. It urged users to employ proactive measures like using strong antivirus software, using virtual cards, enabling transaction alerts, spending limits, and personal data removal services to protect sensitive information.
