Malware app to become mandatory in Iran

The Iranian Government is making antivirus app ‘Farez’ mandatory on all citizens’ phones. However, Azam Jangravi of Citizen Lab has raised concerns about the privacy and security implications. Details of the enforcement and timeframe of the app’s implementation have yet be disclosed by the country’s Cyber Police, known as FATA.
