Three malicious packages linked to North Korean attack group ‘Tenacious Pungsan’ have been found in the npm registry, which together amassed 323 downloads. The packages, known as passports-js, bcrypts-js, and blockscan-api, contained a JavaScript downloader and information stealer called BeaverTail, associated with the North Korean campaign Contagious Interview, aimed at US tech industry job-seekers.
