In a joint operation between Europol, the FBI, Microsoft, and others, around 2,500 domains associated with the notorious Lumma malware were seized, significantly disrupting its infrastructure. However, the malware’s Russia-hosted infrastructure remains partially intact. Despite the technical and reputational damage, Lumma’s developers are said to be restoring operations. Experts suggest Lumma remains a significant cyber threat.
