Amir Hossein Golshan, 25, of Los Angeles, was sentenced to 96 months in prison and ordered to pay over $1.2 million in restitution for multiple cybercrimes, including SIM swapping scams that caused roughly $740,000 in losses. Golshan impersonated Apple support, took over victims’ social media accounts, and tricked contacts into sending him money.
