Lockheed Risks $800 Million Withheld Over New F-35 Software

The Pentagon could withhold over $800m in payments from Lockheed Martin until it approves the software for the advanced F-35. Lockheed Martin will continue production of the aircraft and put them in storage until the software is validated. The software upgrade, which has experienced delays, will increase processing power and memory over the F-35’s current capabilities.
