Three healthcare organizations around Liverpool, UK, including Alder Hey Children’s Hospital and Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital, have been hit by a cyber-attack. The attack, conducted by the ransomware group INC Ransom, resulted in unauthorized access to large-scale data from patient records, donor reports, and procurement data. The Trust confirmed the hospitals are working with the UK’s National Crime Agency to investigate the incident, despite services running normally.
