Lehigh Valley Health Network to pay $65M after nudes of patients leaked online

Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) is set to pay $65 million in a class-action settlement after a ransomware attack exposed the medical records and nude photos of hundreds of patients. The lawsuit—brought by 135,000 patients—marks the largest per-patient settlement in a healthcare data breach-ransomware case. Over 600 patients who had their photos posted online will each receive $70,000.
