Lehigh Valley Health Network hospital network has agreed to a $65 million settlement after data breach

Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) has agreed to a $65 million settlement in a class action lawsuit related to a data breach which saw the publication of images of 600 nude cancer patients. The ransomware attack affected at least 134,000 individuals, with the lawsuit being filed in March 2023. The settlement is believed to be the largest of its kind in a healthcare data breach-ransomware case.
