BayMark Health Services, a leading provider of substance use disorder treatment in North America, was hit by a data breach in September 2024, compromising patients’ personal and health information. BayMark revealed that the breach occurred between September 24 and October 14, 2024. The ransomware gang RansomHub claimed responsibility for the breach, alleging to have stolen 1.5TB of files. The compromised data includes Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, dates of birth, insurance information, and treatment details.
