Kroll, a risk advisory firm, suffered a SIM-swapping attack that allowed a hacker to access personal client information from the bankruptcy cases of FTX, BlockFi and Genesis cryptocurrency platforms. Notified individuals were advised to take security precautions against targeted phishing emails. Kroll confirmed no other systems were compromised.
