Katz Stealer Enhances Credential Theft Capabilities with System Fingerprinting and Persistence Mechanisms

Katz Stealer, a sophisticated new malware, has been identified in 2025. It uses advanced techniques to steal information from applications like Discord and can bypass traditional detection methods. This malware-as-a-service platform spreads through phishing campaigns and disguised software downloads and has evolved cybercriminal toolkits. It targets 78 different browser variants, extracts credentials, infiltrates wallets, messaging platforms, and email clients, and maintains persistent access for future activity.
