Kaspersky Lab has discovered a new variant of the Android Trojan Triada malware, pre-installed on counterfeit Android smartphones. Unlike typical malware, this variant infiltrates every running process and operates undetected. Its capabilities include hijacking social media accounts, changing crypto wallet addresses, and intercepting messages. Over 2,600 users worldwide have been affected. Analysts suggest the attackers have already transferred at least $270,000 in stolen cryptocurrencies.
