California-based healthcare provider Kaiser Permanente has informed patients that their information may have been shared with third-party advertisers, such as Google and Microsoft. Information includes IP addresses and user activity on the website and mobile apps, which 13.4 million users will be informed of in May. Kaiser has now removed the tracking code from its online platforms.
