Junior doctors break strike to assist at sites hit by cyber attack

Some junior doctors in London have been allowed to break their strike to assist at sites affected by a ransomware attack on pathology system provider Synnovis, according to the British Medical Association. Hospitals in south east London are experiencing delays following the cyberattack, and these have been exacerbated by a five-day strike by junior doctors. However, an agreement with NHS England means a limited number of doctors can work at the most affected sites.
