Philadelphia’s Jefferson Health and Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown have signed a non-binding letter of intent to merge, combining to form a 30-hospital system with over 62,000 employees. Subject to regulatory approval, the merger is set to close in 2024 under the leadership of Jefferson Health’s CEO, Joseph Cacchione.
