The US Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has warned about a new malware called RESURGE targeting vulnerable Ivanti products. The malware is a variant of SPAWNCHIMERA; it can create web shells, modify files, harvest credentials and survive reboots. Companies are advised to mitigate the risk by conducting a factory reset, resetting credentials and monitoring related accounts.
