Apricorn’s annual research has shown a significant increase in notifications of cyber breaches to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), with 32% of UK security leaders surveyed saying they had been reported for a data breach since the GDPR regulations took effect. The study also found that half of the IT decision-makers believe remote workers knowingly risk corporate data, and that insider threats pose a significant risk to data security.
