Is There a DDoS Attack Ceiling?

Hacktivist groups such as Anonymous Sudan and NoName057(16) are driving an increase in Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attacks, according to a report by Gary Sockrider, Director of Security Solutions at NETSCOUT. These groups entire operations are focused on DDoS attacks, often incentivizing actors to flood target servers with malicious content. To counter this, Sockrider suggests that businesses implement real-time threat intelligence and machine learning (ML) in their cybersecurity strategy.
