Mercy Iowa terminated its agreement with EMR software company Altera Digital Health, opting to transfer over to University of Iowa Health Care, with Altera expected to continue operations during the transition. The move happens as University of Iowa continues its acquisition of Mercy Iowa. The contentious exit strategy had previously led Altera to seek judicial intervention.
