Interpol Dismantles 20,000 Malicious IPs and Domains Tied to 69 Malware Variants

INTERPOL’s Operation Secure, conducted with law enforcement from 26 Asia-Pacific countries, resulted in the takedown of over 20,000 malicious IPs and domains linked to malware. The operation, which occurred from January to April 2025, saw the seizure of 41 servers, confiscation of over 100 GB of data, and resulted in 32 global arrests. Over 216,000 potential victims were notified of the cyber threat. The success of the operation demonstrated the effectiveness of international law enforcement cooperation and intelligence sharing in combating cybercrime.
