Internet Archive Reels From ‘Catastrophic’ Cyberattack, Data Breach

Online resource, the Internet Archive, has suffered a substantial data breach, exposing millions of users’ data. Founder, Brewster Kahle, confirmed that distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks have been received since Tuesday and vowed to upgrade the organisation’s security. Predicted to be a pro-Palestinian “hacktivist” group, the hackers are said to have compromised 31 million accounts.
