Internet Archive Gets Pummeled in Round 2 Breach

Internet Archive, a digital library platform, has been hit by another cyber attack following a data breach and distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks that had previously forced it offline. Alleged hackers reportedly gained access to the archive’s Zendesk implementation, sending a mass email to users. The hackers argue that Internet Archive had not secured its authentication tokens which enabled the breach, exposing users’ data. The organization has not publicly responded to the breach yet.
