Infosys Settles Data Breach Class Action Lawsuits for $17.5M

Infosys McCamish Systems, a U.S. subsidiary of Indian IT firm Infosys, has agreed to pay $17.5 million to settle six lawsuits related to a 2023 cyberattack that impacted over 6 million individuals. The lawsuits claimed the company failed to provide adequate cybersecurity and did not promptly or completely inform those affected by the breach.
