Infosys settles $17.5 million lawsuit over US cyberattack: ‘The proposed terms are subject to…’

Indian IT company Infosys has agreed to pay $17.5 million to settle lawsuits linked to a 2023 cyber breach at its US subsidiary, Infosys McCamish Systems. The breach exposed roughly 6.5 million individuals’ data, impacting some McCamish customers. The settlement will resolve all pending suits without admission of liability, pending final court approval.
