Inferno Drainer, a defunct malware scam, created over 16,000 unique malicious domains, luring users into connecting their cryptocurrency wallets with attackers’ infrastructure and approving transactions. The scam, operational from November 2022 to November 2023, netted over $87m from over 137,000 victims.
