This drive seeks to help nations build digital health systems, with an acknowledgment of the potential repercussions, such as the risk to privacy and the widening of existing health service inequalities. India’s new Digital Personal Data Protection Act doesn’t treat digital health data as sensitive information, thereby disregarding global strategy directives and the nation’s Supreme Court’s privacy ruling.
