Imprivata launches new mobile device authentication with eye toward hospital workflows

Imprivata has launched a new authentication tool called Mobile Device Access (MDA) which offers secure access to clinical mobile devices and applications in hospitals. The tool aims to maintain clinicians’ fast-paced workflow and increase efficiency by allowing clinicians to unlock mobile devices and sign into apps with a proximity badge rather than manually entering usernames and passwords. The tool integrates with Imprivata OneSign SSO and virtual desktop access platform, offering hospitals a single platform for authentication policies.
