Identity of hacker behind NSW court website data breach unknown, police say

Around 9,000 sensitive court files were breached on the New South Wales Department of Communities and Justice’s online registry, including domestic violence orders and affidavits. The loophole was discovered during routine maintenance and is now being investigated. So far, no stolen data has been found in the public domain. Authorities are working to identify who is vulnerable following the breach and are urging anyone concerned to contact the police.
