Online services of Canterbury, Dover, and Thanet local councils in Kent, UK, continue to be disrupted following a cyber-attack a week ago. Services affected include council tax payments and online forms impacting almost 500,000 residents. The councils’ joint investigation has been unable to confirm whether personal data was accessed. The incident, which remains unexplained, is thought to be linked to East Kent Services (EKS), an agency used by all three councils for IT and HR services.
