The ransomware group Bashe has claimed responsibility for hacking the database of ICICI Bank, a leading Indian bank. The hackers have demanded a ransom by January 24, 2025, threatening to release sensitive information otherwise. ICICI Bank has not publicly acknowledged the breach so far. Bashe, known for targeting high-value businesses, began operations in April 2024 and is notably linked with notorious ransomware operator, LockBit.
