Huawei phones are telling users that the Google app is malware, dangerous, and should be uninstalled

Huawei’s phones are mistakenly identifying the Google app as a virus, according to images and comments from users. The notification recommends immediate uninstallation as a “security threat.” It describes the Google app as a TrojanSMS-PA virus, which is capable of siphoning off user data or control. Supposedly, the alert started appearing after a recent update. Clearing the cache of the Phone Manager app may resolve the issue.
