How to work with the new Windows LAPS feature

Windows has updated its local Administrator Password Solution (Windows LAPS) to offer more security features, such as password rotation and protection against hash attacks. The new version also supports Azure’s Role-Based Access Control, includes password encryption and password history features. However, the current and previous versions cannot manage the same account on the same machine, and the update requires certain OS versions. Users can deploy Windows LAPS through Intune or group policy and requires preparation with Active Directory.
