A notorious hacker group named USDoD has allegedly stolen 2.9 billion personal records from Americans which include Social Security numbers and addresses. Originated late last year from National Public Data, the breach has raised concerns of possible cybercrimes such as fraud and identity theft. The group initially aimed to sell this information for $3.5 million, however, a member has reportedly released most of the data for free online.
