How to Figure Out If Your Phone Has Malware

Smartphones are vulnerable to malware such as spyware, adware, or ransomware that can damage your device, steal information or lock down access. Android phones are more prone to malicious apps than iPhones due to the former’s open design. Despite Apple devices being less likely to contract malware, iPhones too have been found with spyware. Signs of an infected phone include unexpected pop-up ads, unexplained charges, quick battery drain, overheating, slowing of the device, poor connections or unexpected apps appearing.
