How physicians, systems can debunk regulatory myths: AMA

The American Medical Association (AMA) advises healthcare leaders to encourage doctors to question regulatory obligations to clear out unnecessary clerical tasks and reduce burnout. A typical example is Cleveland Clinic, which stopped requiring physicians to re-enter passwords when ordering non-controlled medicines after realizing it was no longer required by the state pharmacy board, saving $2 million annually.
