South Korea’s Catholic Medical Center has undergone digital health assessments across its eight-hospital network. The hospitals, all connected via the CMC nU information system, used tools such as the Digital Health Indicator (DHI), Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model and Infrastructure Adoption Model to measure digital maturity. Varying levels of digital maturity were found across the group, however, they were collectively considered as having strong digital transformation foundations, particularly in governance and workforce, and interoperability.
