How comprehensive data documentation holds the power to transform maternal mortality rates

Despite advances in many areas of healthcare, the US leads peer nations in maternal mortality and morbidity. Maternal deaths have doubled in the past two decades and 70 times as many women experience serious birth-related complications. The CDC says more than 80% of these deaths are preventable.
