Hospitals will see modest gains in 2025, but face higher costs, including cybersecurity, Moody’s says

Nonprofit hospitals are forecasted to see financial improvements in 2025, mediated by high labor costs and the need for increased cybersecurity investments, according to Moody’s Ratings. A steady cash flow margin around 7% is projected, but labor costs constituting a median 53% of operating expenses may pose significant hurdles.
