Hospital Authority Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation are launching a data collaboration lab. The facility gives non-academic biomedical and healthcare research and development access to a large clinical database, including anonymous records from around 200,000 patients from 2007-2017. The lab will open in October and stringent measures have been placed to ensure data security and compliance.
