Home Office ordered to stop work on former RAF base set to house migrants

The UK’s Home Office has been ordered to halt work on a former RAF base in Lincolnshire planned as accommodation for asylum seekers, due to concerns over heritage assets. The council reportedly issued a temporary stop notice after alleged breaches, such as installing fencing and undertaking intrusive groundworks; work must now stop immediately.
